My stay at the Cheesecake Boutique House was quite pleasant overall, with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. However, I did encounter some noise issues due to thin walls and a lack of soundproofing, particularly at night. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Lisbon, but I did experience some challenges with the shared bathrooms during peak times.

Rooms

I stayed in a Standard King Room with a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the decor was charming, but the noise from the hallway at night made it necessary to keep the window closed.
Service
9.0
The staff was welcoming and always ready to help with information or requests, which seriously enhanced my experience. They made the arrival and check-out processes smooth and easy.
Location
9.0
This boutique house is ideally located near Marques Pombal square and is not far from main attractions, making it convenient for exploring the city. I loved the proximity to local restaurants and a microbrewery, too!
Dining
7.0
I appreciated having all-day breakfast supplies in the kitchen, which was perfect for a quick snack or light meal. However, I found the quality of some food options, like the Danish pastries, a bit lacking.
Facilities
7.0
The shared bathrooms were a bit of a downside, especially since there are only two for too many people which caused longer wait times. However, the outdoor garden space was a lovely touch for relaxation.

I had a pleasant experience at Cheesecake Boutique House. The cleanliness stood out to me, and I appreciated the warm interactions with the staff. However, some noise from other rooms was a bit distracting, and I noticed the shared bathrooms could get busy at times, which slightly impacted my overall comfort.

Rooms

My room was clean and well-kept, although it lacked daylight due to a wall obstructing the window. The bed was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep, despite some noise from other guests.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and eager to help with any needs. They made me feel at home, which added to my overall satisfaction during my stay.

My stay at Cheesecake Boutique House had its ups and downs. The cleanliness was impressive, and I adored the cozy bed, but late-night noise from fellow guests made it a bit tough to catch some z's. Plus, the lack of breakfast options was a letdown, although I did appreciate the accessible kitchen facilities for making my own meals.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in had a super comfy bed, but the thin walls meant I could hear everything going on around me, including late-night noise and early risers. A sleep mask and earplugs are definitely recommended if you're a light sleeper.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome, but I found them a bit hard to track down at times. Overall, they were attentive when I needed assistance.
Location

The location was fantastic—close enough to downtown to hit all the tourist spots but far enough away to not be caught up in the noise. The metro stop was also super convenient for making my way around the city.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was pretty basic with limited options available, but the self-service kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks, which I was grateful for. It could've been better, though.
Facilities
8.0
I loved having access to kitchen facilities for meal prep, plus the outdoor garden space provided a nice spot to relax. The bathrooms were also very clean, which was a highlight during my stay.

However, there were some noise issues due to the poorly soundproofed doors. Overall, the friendly staff and convenient location made my experience enjoyable.
